This is a message from Fordsville Elementary School. With no school in Ohio County on Wednesday, February 4th, we are now utilizing NTI Day 6. Some students may have only had work sent home for Days 1-5. Please check your child's teacher's Classroom Dojo for Day 6 and beyond if there are more days we are not in session. If you have any questions, please message your child's teacher on Dojo or send them an email.
Preschool will be on Day 5 of NTI work since they do not attend school on Fridays.

Good afternoon Fordsville Families. This call is just a reminder that tonight is Grandparents' Night at Fordsville Elementary School from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Come out and join in the fun. We will be shopping at the book fair, doing a scrapbook craft, having snacks, and photo booths. We hope to see you there!

Kentucky Department of Education has made some changes in the medication procedures we must adhere to. We still have medical professional standing orders for medications such as: Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Tums, cough drops, etc. with written parental permission. Any other medications outside the standing orders must have a medical professional’s signature in order to be given at school.
If medications are to be taken during the school day, please have your medical professional complete the Permission Form for Prescribed or Over-the-Counter Medication.
This form can be found on the district website under Quick Links – New Medication Guidelines or it can be obtained at your child’s school.

Some of our Skills Club Welding students had a great day competing in the 4th annual Wade Pile Memorial welding competition at Breckinridge Co ATC. Gavin Peech, Branson Calloway, William Cremer, Waylon Travillian, and Palemon Clay placed 2nd as a team. Waylon Travillian placed 5th, individual. Congratulations to this talented group of young men!
